A WEEKEND OF SHENANIGANS - BROOKLYN EDITION

A WEEKEND OF SHENANIGANS - BROOKLYN EDITION

Saying that we kept ourselves well busy during the Bar Convent Brooklyn weekend last month would be the understatement of the year.

In fact, so much mischief, sipping and all around fun was had with old friends and new, that we needed to share some snippets with you. You know, get the FOMO going and all that jazz!

FRUITY FLEX

And let’s kick the festivities off with our Fruity Flex extravaganza party in Brooklyn on Sunday 11th June at the amazing Disco Courtyard of 99 Scott, only a stone's throw away from our future Empirical venue.

With the weather on our side, we celebrated all colors of the rainbow with our amazing fruity QTS.

We shook our bodies to the sound of queer pop anthems by Cassi DJ until our feet begged us to stop.

We naturally kept our thirst quenched thanks to the talented fruity QTs that are Christian SuzuBen HopkinsDa’rel Miller and  Kate Gerwin. All the spritzes, high-balls and cans they threw our way found their match with Jessica and Trina’s of Dacha 46’s delicious food.

Oh and yeah, let’s not forget about the amazing drag performance from Ruby Tuesday and Co.

You get the jist. The fun was mighty and we cannot wait for our next shenanigans with this bunch of legends.

IN GOOD COMPANY

Nothing better to finish a long weekend than a few drinks with mates! And we obliged with our friends of Boatyard Distillery for a night in Good Company. The Lyaness gang joined the legends of the infamous Dead Rabbit to shake up a storm. A whole bunch of talented misfits in one room, making drinks and having a good ol’ banter around delicious concoctions.

I mean, see for yourself!
