The Frederick Martini

CREATIVE MIXOLOGY

The Frederick Martini

Empirical x Frederick meets the honeyed depth of Sauternes, rounded out by the bright lift of white peach tonic. The result is light and refreshing, with fruit and floral notes framing the spirit’s pine and pecan core. Balanced and straightforward, it’s built for easy drinking without losing refinement.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz Empirical X Frederick

  • 0.5 oz Empirical The Plum, I Suppose

  • 0.75 oz Junmai Gino Sake

  • 0.25 oz Clarified Pear

Method

  1. Chill all ingredients well before mixing

  2. Combine all ingredients in mixing glass and stir until well chilled.

  3. Strain into martini glass.

  4. Carefully float three drops of pecan charcoal oil

Whats the deal with Empirical X Frederick?

The Empirical X Frederick collaboration is rooted in a shared obsession with craft, origin, and detail, sitting between haute couture and spirit making.

Distinctly American materials are treated with the same precision you would expect from a couture atelier.

The profile lands in familiar territory for gin lovers: aromatic, bright, complex. Yet it is a completely new take that resists any old category. Fashion and flavor speaking the same uncategorized language.
