A Smoky and Vegetal Spirit Honoring the Mixe Farmers From Oaxaca.
Bring a smoky depth to your cocktails. Empirical Ayuuk plays naturally with mezcal and whiskey. Try it neat or on the rocks, or give an Old Fashioned an outstanding twist.
Ayuuk is built around a single botanical: the smoky Pasilla Mixe chili from Oaxaca, Mexico, the source of all of its complexity. It rests in oloroso sherry casks to round it out with notes of dark red fruit and a smooth finish.
