Soka takes the rum's place, its fresh-cut grass, melon and green apple notes at the front. Lime juice and rich sugar syrup are all it needs. Shake it hard and strain it for a beach-bright drink in any season.
Ingredients
2 oz Empirical Soka
¾ oz lime juice
¾ oz simple syrup (2:1)
Garnish: lime slice
60 ml Empirical Soka
25 ml lime juice
25 ml simple syrup (2:1)
Garnish: lime slice
Alternatives
Split base: 1 oz Empirical Soka and 1 oz white rum.
Method
Add all the ingredients to your shaker over ice. Hard shake and double-strain into your coupe glass. Garnish with a lime slice.
