Soka Mojito
The grassy layers of Empirical Soka in an all-time favorite.
Simple · 5 min
Soka takes the rum's place in the mojito, built with mint, lime and rich sugar syrup. Its fresh-cut grass and green apple notes sit naturally with the mint, which makes it a long drink for every season.
Ingredients
- 1½ oz Empirical Soka
- ¾ oz sugar syrup (2:1)
- ¾ oz lime juice
- 6 mint leaves
- 3 lime quarters
- Garnish: lime slice
- 45 ml Empirical Soka
- 25 ml sugar syrup (2:1)
- 25 ml lime juice
- 6 mint leaves
- 3 lime quarters
- Garnish: lime slice
Alternatives
- Split base: ¾ oz Empirical Soka and ¾ oz white rum.
Method
- Lightly muddle the mint and lime quarters with the sugar syrup in a highball glass. Add Soka, lime juice and crushed ice. Lightly stir and top up with more crushed ice. Garnish with fresh mint leaves and a lime slice.
